We have moved.

April 2013

YourClaim Perth have bought an office in West Leederville. We are now situated at Unit 2, 10 Southport St, West Leederville.

Many of our WA Broker clients are based in West Perth so the move made great sense from a proximity perspective.

A warm welcome to call in is extended to our existing clients. Access made easier with 2 hour free car parking outside on Southport St with a couple of good quality coffee shops very close by.

Injury ups ante leading in to Busselton Half Ironman.

May 2012

The cat got put fairly firmly in amongst the pigeons on Thursday 3rd May.
Phil, our runner, who had been battling all week with calf and back injuries finally succumbed and had to pull the pin.

After scrabbling around frantically trying to source a replacement we contacted the organizers who informed us no replacements could be parachuted in after 16 April.

Our choices weren't entirely straightforward. Firstly, we withdraw. Secondly the swimmer and bike rider do their respective events and then we withdraw. Lastly the swimmer swims, the rider rides, then one of those two does the run. Complicating the decision was that Johns been battling a pinched nerve severely hampering his running. We didn't need medical advice to recognise the 90k bike immediately beforehand wouldn't exactly assist that injury.

Graham is a water guy not a land guy. It'd be fair to say that for your first half marathon you would ideally have done some running plus not have done a 2k swim beforehand. He's run twice in the last 24 months. Cometh the hour however, and the decisions made, Grahams pulling on the runners!

To the race itself. Of the 450 teams or so entered Graham's smashed out the choppy 1.9k swim in an impressive 33 minutes handing over the timing chip in 29th spot. Johns put in a workmanlike 90k ride in 2 hours 47, handing it back in 69th position. Grahams then bounded out of transition en route to his first ever run over 10k – in his board shorts no less!. The running kit itself intimated a guy in the embryonic stage of his running career and needless to say he received a great deal of encouragement and support out on the course. Graham finishing the run actually running 21 k's later was a monstrous achievement in itself.

Great day, great experience and a lot of fun. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

Victorian market expanding for YourClaim.

April 2012

Whilst their head office is in Perth, John and Graham have assisted many clients and Brokers with claims in Victoria, with both previously having worked in Melbourne for a number of years.

YourClaim is experiencing increased demand for our services in Melbourne with John or Graham currently in Melbourne every fortnight attending to claims related matters. Whilst this fortnightly attendance is sufficing for now, increasing demand has seen us looking to employ a locally based claims expert as soon as a suitably qualified and experienced expert can be secured.
